A friend of mine loaned me his 1.4x telecoverter a couple of weeks ago and I finally had a chance to return it today. We met at the retention pond and shot a few birds. I’ve added a few to my wildlife catalog and wanted to post a few here for your enjoyment.

This is a Burrowing Owl which is only found in Florida in localized areas south of Tampa. This photo is of an adult looking out for danger from above while the chicks play near the nest below:
