Made the 6-hr motorcycle ride without incident. It was a cloudy, no, foggy day for most of the ride. Visibility was barely 2 miles, much less in some places especially along I10. We started to get a few breaks in the clouds and could see blue sky and an occasional glimpse of the sun but that was all UNTIL we crossed over to Georgia on Hwy 121. It was like a huge wall had been erected that kept out all of the Florida weather; it was severe clear, deep blue skies and bright, intense sun! All the fog we had eliminated our need to look into the sun as we were traveling east. Couldn’t have been a better traveling day!
I have some photos coming, but not just yet. And I’ll have a better description of our experience at the “Tunnel”. Need to get home to the desktop computer to finish editing the photos and uploading them to the blog first. Not quite sure yet how best to coordinate updating the blog between the laptop and the desktop though especially since I’m using Lightroom to edit and upload photos on both machines. That’s just something else I need to work on in the upcoming weeks.
It’s time to turn in so we can get an early start tomorrow!
