It’s nesting and baby time again all over the country. Down south where it gets warmer earlier, nests have already been created, mating has occurred, eggs laid, and now little one are starting to raise their heads and start looking at the world around them! This Great Blue Heron pair was performing a “changing of the guard” while I was there and got a good view of the recently hatched little one.
