This past Thursday and Friday I drove over to Jacksonville, FL with a high school instructor friend to attend the Lightroom 5 seminar hosted by Kelby Training with Matt Kloskowski. It was a great seminar. I learned (and re-learned) a lot of things about Lightroom which is the program I use to edit nearly all of the photos I take and display here.
We spent Thursday night at down town Jacksonville around the St James River. There were lots of photographic targets to capture and we tried to get to as many as we could. However, there were a couple that were our “priority” targets. One was the Main Street Bridge which is bathed in blue light. It was an awesome site in person as it is in all the pictures I’ve seen of it. The other was the lighted fountain at Friendship Park. The “dancing water” of the fountain along with the colors are sync’d to the Christmas music they were playing. It was a pretty cool experience to see the fountain, with the Main Street Bridge and the Jacksonville skyline in the background. I’ll be sure to post photos here when I finish them in a few short days.
